Eco Tour (4 Nights 5 Days)

Day 01: Arrival in Paro then transfer to Thimphu (2,320m/7,610ft): 54 km, 1 hour

Meal: Welcome Dinner

During the scenic flight to Bhutan, you will enjoy the fascinating view of the Himalayas and the sacred peaks Jichu Drakey and Jhomohari. Our team member will welcome you and escort you to your hotel in Thimphu. If we have enough time, we will take you for a short visit at Tachoe Lhakhang on the way towards Thimphu. Overnight in Thimphu hotel.

Day 02: Thimphu to Punakha (1,250m/4,100 ft.): 76 km, 2 – 3 hours

 Meal inclusive: (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

After breakfast, start sightseeing by visiting the memorial Chorten (constructed in the memory of the third king who ruled the country from 1952 – 1972). Also visit the Buddha Point.

After lunch drive to Punakha cross the Dochu La pass (3100 m) and spend some time to witness the mesmerizing scenario at Dochula.  On the way we will also explore Chimi Lhakhang famously known as fertility temple. Ultimately as we reach Punakha, we will be heading towards the Punakha Dzong which is the second ancient and the largest Dzong in Bhutan. Overnight at Punakha hotel.

Day 03: Punakha to Paro (2,250m/7,382ft): 130 km, 4 hours

 Meal inclusive: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

After the breakfast – drive to Paro and then visit the Ringpung Dzong and one of the ancient temples Kichu Lhagkhang and the Drugyal Dzong. Overnight at Paro hotel.

Day 04: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery

After breakfast, hike to Taktsang Lhakhang famously known as Tiger Nest, which is approximately 4-5 hours walk from the valley. The monastery is located at the edge of the high cliff which is at 3180 meters. Provide lunch at the cafeteria/restaurant which is located at the midway towards the temple. After exploring the Taktsang monastery, we will return down to the valley. Overnight at Paro hotel.

Day 05: Final Departure
